Nutrition Services

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand. Children need healthy meals for effective learning.  The Northeast Community School District offers healthy foods each and every school day.  Our Nutrition Department is made up of a great team of nutrition professionals that are dedicated to providing nutritious meals that support our students' health, well being and ability to learn. All meals, foods and beverages sold or served at our schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Child Nutrition Guidelines.

MAKE A DEPOSIT IN FAMILY LUNCH ACCOUNT

All students have access to the School Breakfast and Lunch Program. Deposits may be made to meal accounts through JMC  or by cash or check before classes.  A minimum of $5.00 is suggested.  Payments sent with elementary students should be in a marked envelope.  Family accounts will be used for all students unless otherwise requested, and each student will use his/her assigned I.D. number. Charges are discouraged and no charges are allowed for a la carte items. An online viewing option is available to check student account activity and balances. Northeast has a district-wide charging limit of $50.00 per family. Please make sure to send timely payments to avoid going over that limit.
