How did the district leadership team consult with the stakeholder groups listed in assurance 5 during the development of the district’s ESSER III Plan?
The district has received input from the public via weekly updates to the Northeast learning Community and local Board of Education meetings. The superintendent will continue to discuss the use of ESSER funds with the District Administration Team, District Leadership Teams and the School Improvement Advisory Committee.

The district will continue to use ISASP data, FastBRidge data, Conditions for Learning Survey, PANORAMA Surveys, literacy screening and progress monitoring data, and math screening and progress monitoring data.

Students from low-income families and students with Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) have been most impacted by COVID-19.

Which of the following prevention and mitigation strategies will ESSER III funds be used to implement?
The district will continue to coordinate preparedness and response efforts with state and local public health departments to prevent, prepare for and respond to COVID-19. We will tailor prevention and mitigation strategies to address the needs of children from low-income families, children with disabilities, English learners, racial and ethnic minorities, students experiencing homelessness, and foster care youth. We will be purchasing educational technology (including hardware, software, connectivity, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment) needed to ensure students’ virtual learning success.
How does the district plan to use the 20% set-aside to address the academic impact of learning loss or to accelerate learning through evidence-based interventions?
The district will use evidence-based accelerated learning interventions in literacy, mathematics, and social-emotional-behavioral heath. We will be planning and implementing activities related to NeW time, WINN, summer learning and after-school programs.
How does the district plan to use the remaining ESSER III funds consistent with statutory requirements?
The district will follow protocol and procedures authorized by the IDOE, ESEA, IDEA, AEFLA, and Perkins CTE.
